Founded in 2000
McCaig-Welles officially opened it’s doors on March 3,
2001 on the Southside of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Four years later, and
a few blocks further North, the gallery has continued its focus on championing
street, underground and outsider artists. Most of McCaig-Welles repertoire
of artists live and work in NYC with careers ranging from mid to well
established.
