ABOUT GLOWLAB
Glowlab tracks emerging approaches to psychogeography,
the creative exploration of the physical and psychological landscape of
cities. Founded in 2002 by Brooklyn-based artist and curator Christina
Ray, we operate as an independent curatorial lab, hosting an annual festival
called Conflux, producing exhibitions and events and publishing a web-based
magazine.
Glowlab is particularly interested in the psychogeographic
elements of contemporary public-space artwork. The work we produce and
present is created by artists whose primary inspiration is the urban environment
and its complex physical, social, psychological and technological orders
and disorders.
