Fountain Announces The First Six Galleries To Participate

New York (January 21, 2010) – Brash and adventurous, Fountain Art Fair unleashes a dynamic layout for Pier 66 aka the Frying Pan which yields monstrous booth sizes for gallery installations. 10 booths measuring 270 – 900 square feet, 9 private installations and two underground lounges, give the art fair termed “guerrilla” and “off the wall”  a creative environment in which to  explode March 4 – 7 during the Armory Art Show weekend.

Fountain standards, Leo Kesting Gallery, Glowlab and Greg Haberny will showcase new works alongside Creon Gallery (NY,) ArtSlant (LA,) Temporary States (NY) and Holster Projects (London) are the first seven projects to be announced for the fair. Stay tuned as more will be announced soon.

Fountain New York, is an alternative art exhibition known for presenting cutting-edge and independent art galleries. This year it will be at Pier 66 during the Armory this March 4 – 7.

Fountain recruits avant-garde galleries who showcase progressive primary-market works. This is the 4th year for Fountain in New York. Fountain’s venue, Pier 66 is a 10,000 square-foot complex with both interior and exterior exhibition areas, is adjacent to all the major New York exhibitions such as The Armory Show and Pulse New York.
